"Earth to Fire" Beginners Pottery with Karin Clark

Please note: The course runs from 9-1 Tuesday, August 6 to Friday August 9. Then for the final day to do glazing it will be Monday August 12 9-1. Pottery can be picked up at the Art Gallery Wednesday August 14th.
In "Earth to Fire" you will explore the many different forms and shapes of pinch pots. The course will then move into coil and slab building. This hand building lets you experience how the clay feels, shapes, forms and dries.
You will get a chance to work on the wheel every day and build skills. You will also practice cylinders and bowls.
Students are encouraged to bring a towel and the right clothes for creating.
Clay, glaze and firing are included in the price.
